AR Interiors & Design provides customized service, commitment, passion for the craft, and an integrated professional design experience that will culminate in a truly unique, luxury room. Athena first consults with her clients to learn what they value and ignite their creativity, as well as what exactly they are looking to accomplish. Athena can work with a client’s current setting and accentuate it to create a stylized space, or re-do a room from top to bottom according to her client’s wishes.
Athena’s years of experience, leadership, and exposure to vendors and talented craftsmen of all kinds including trade-only distributors in furniture, molding, upholstery, and accessories creates a treasured advantage for her clients as a room comes together.
Design
Complete Visual Design Plan of Any Residential Space
Following a private in-home consultation, in which the client agrees to move forward with AR Interiors & Design Services, Athena will compile digital moodboards, storyboards, swatches and all design aspects to review with clients throughout the project duration. A Floor plan is discussed and outlined. Fabrics, paints, colors schemes, accessories, furniture, finishes, lighting, rugs and decorative accents are presented in order to communicate all ideas for the given space and project. This is where the theme will be established, depending on the direction of the customer. All designs will be based on the initial suggestions and ideas from the client, the provided budget and the measurements of the given space.
In-home Consultation
Rather than a Complete Visual Design plan, AR Interiors & Design can be hired for an hourly consult. Call for further information and we’ll be happy to assist with any questions. Design services for the In-home Consultation package include:
- Choice of bedding set or fabrics from dozens of selections and swatches
- Coordination of paint colors and/or faux finishes
- Incorporation of existing items into a theme
- Rearrangment of furniture and accessories
- Choice of window treatment styles
- A list of additional recommended changes, furnishings, and accessories
Personal Shopping
This is a great package for any busy women who simply do not have the time to shop for the perfect furniture, décor and accessories. Athena has developed relationships with many vendors in the industry and can find and select the best pieces for your desired space. Athena can save you lots of time spent on searching for the perfect items.
E-Designs
This includes an initial phone conversation to discuss the task at hand and measurements. One or 2 Digital Moodboards are submitted to the client with a coordinating Spreadsheet of all listed elements, prices and vendors for the given room. The client can go ahead and order any desired items on the given Digital Moodboard and Spreadsheet or opt to have AR Interiors & Design move forward with the design process.
Event Coordination and Planning
AR Interiors & Design can help in the planning of any life events. Athena has planned private parties and events and received training at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in Floral Design. She can share her expertise in floral design, party themes, color schemes, favors, cakes, table seating organization, table seating cards, games, invitation selection and more. She can also help direct the planning process and make sure that all aspects of the special day are completed with detail, creativity and a chic eye for design.
